Ultrasound-Guided Transgraft and Transcaval Embolization of Type II Endoleak

چکیده

Type II endoleak is a common and often unavoidable complication following endovascular aortic aneurysm repair. Most endoleaks are transient will either resolve spontaneously or remain benign. However, persistent type can be associated with aneurysmal sac expansion and, even, rupture. The optimal treatment strategy for these depends on the source, location, collateral network of feeding vessels. most frequent strategies embolization include transarterial access vessel translumbar via direct puncture. aim our study was to demonstrate ultrasound-guided transcaval transgraft approaches as alternative standard techniques. association transabdominal ultrasound fluoroscopy increases targeted cavity, increasing likelihood success. Additionally, resolution confirmed intraoperatively real-time contrast-enhanced ultrasound. eyJraWQiOiI4ZjUxYWNhY2IzYjhiNjNlNzFlYmIzYWFmYTU5NmZmYyIsImFsZyI6IlJTMjU2In0.eyJzdWIiOiI0NjFjMWU4OTFkNmRmZDgzNGZlNWE4MTI0MmQ3YTFhYyIsImtpZCI6IjhmNTFhY2FjYjNiOGI2M2U3MWViYjNhYWZhNTk2ZmZjIiwiZXhwIjoxNjkxNDE5OTY5fQ.jukN7YCznl0nH9POWHv8NiuBOBrhE60mI3iBjxwD9hgqIxTVr1mIi7ikamx8MMc0HAlfy6NIkr-UJLLm7acMa3gxXjpuhnRrJ_W4rHiaUthikYjkHHVDQJaYK0eS9iHCU2ThZLHCi0uTQNfD18GIanYodGpSxNKgd4Pvr-3NKTD8f66E32ihBS1S7Yyw7-yZfrTwKeyQdosYelsGi_GBB_VpMLYyBA3zEs9iA2slkAGAYMMXjkTL6T22QbRCpJqz4MQoHTPQjwQ0758qJ_Nn4rjI1xeAkls7rIOgzwj3UhT7sN3_qT24vdpuSv4Cj5gMimVjm_9_3oAvsUm1Dh5C9g Download .mp4 (61.7 MB) Help files Transgraft Endoleak after Fenestrated-Branched aneurysm_video 2 16 21.mp4

CT- and Fluoroscopy-Guided Percutaneous Transabdominal Embolization of Type II Endoleak.

We report a case of a 79-year-old male patient who was treated 3 years previously at another hospital for an abdominal aortic aneurysm with a maximal diameter of 80 mm. After the treatment control period, computed tomography imaging revealed a type II endoleak and no progression in the size of the aneurysm sac. Selective injection of the superior mesenteric artery revealed that the endoleak was...

[Intrathrombus embolization of giant mesenteric inferior artery to prevent type II endoleak].

INTRODUCTION One of the most common complications of endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm is type II endoleak - retrograde branch flow. CASE REPORT A 76-year-old man with abdominal aortic aneurysm, 7.1 cm in diameter and aneurysm of the right common iliac artery, 3.2 cm in diameter was admitted to our Department with abdominal pain. The patient had no chance of having open repair ...

A novel technique combining laparoscopic and endovascular approaches using image fusion guidance for anterior embolization of type II endoleak

Type II endoleak (T2E) leading to aneurysm sac enlargement is one of the challenging complications associated with endovascular aneurysm repair. Recent guidelines recommend embolization of T2E associated with aneurysmal sac enlargement. Various percutaneous and endovascular techniques have been reported for embolization of T2E. We report a novel technique for T2E embolization combining laparosc...

Use of glue and microcoils for transarterial catheter embolization of a type 1 endoleak.

We present a unique case of abdominal aortic aneurysm initially presenting with inferior vena cava compression leading to deep venous thrombosis, for which the patient subsequently underwent an endovascular aortic repair. Aorto-uni-iliac endografting was performed for subacute occlusion of left common iliac artery complicated by proximal type 1 endoleak. Subsequent management of the endoleak wa...
